Who We Are
Edward Wadsworth for hair Advanced Hairdressing Apprenticeship Training Program is located at our salon in Portland's West Slope neighborhood. Our salon caters to clients with exquisite taste and a desire for quality. Our clients accept nothing but the finest in hair care and service standards.
Since 1975, more than 150 hairdressers have made the choice to develop their careers at our Advanced Training Center. Many graduates have gone on to specialize in their chosen hair care field, and have built a following of many satisfied clients.
Go Beyond The Basics
Think of it as graduate school with the advantage of on-the-job training. You have already invested a year or so in beauty school. You learned the basics and qualified for your license. Now, it's time to break out of your license. Now, it's time to break out of your current comfort zone and start learning - and working - at a higher level of creativity and professionalism.
Choose A Specialty
Our training programs allow you to specialize in Haircutting / Perming / Styling or Hair Coloring / Relaxing /Styling . We teach you the skills to keep you current and help you grow into a top specialist.
Be A Cut Above The Rest
The Advanced Training Apprenticeship program is approximately a 12-month investment in your future. During that time, you will work 40 hours a week in the salon, and attend classes in the evening. After about four months, when your knowledge and skill have reached an elevated level , you may begin working directly with clients and receive commissions in addition to your hourly wage.
